For the student wanting a professional career Classical Ballet Academy in Provo, Utah has implemented a pre-professional experience through Provo Civic Ballet. Trainees in Provo Civic Ballet are invited by Artistic Director and Classical Ballet Academy Owner/Director Jennie Creer-King.
This pre-professional trainee program helps transition dancers from student to professional dancer. CBA offers personal attention, coaching and mentoring through various opportunities including: classical ballet, partnering, variations, classical and contemporary choreography, jazz, modern, world dance, and creative process implementation. Provo Civic Ballet provides the opportunity for developing artists to put knowledge into practice through additional performances, guest choreographers, master teachers, lead roles, competition coaching, and the additional training hours needed to be competitive in this field.
Trainees in Provo Civic Ballet also are mentored by staff on how to teach a ballet class, choreograph and present their own dance pieces and prepare for professional or university auditions.
